Meeting the Horses

Even though I was out until 3:00am, I made it up early enough Sunday morning (Thank God for Daylight Savings time) to go to the Horse Farm as planned, where I will be volunteering by way of grooming, feeding, and walking the horses.
This is Utopia a beautiful 4 y/o Quarterhorse/Morgan cross filly
a Stallion whose name I don't remember at the moment, I met SO many horses today!
Utopia being a ham and begging for more carrots!
I was happy to see the horse farm is also home to a number of other rescue animals including this adorable Mastiff girl named Nala. I think she loos like a giant pug ;-)

Beautiful Horses! The second one looks like my mom's horse, way back in the day!

The Horses are beautiful. The are such majestic animals. It's nice to know that they are places like that with people who are willing to care these once neglected animals. I hope you have a great experience Lori.
