So last night I went to the Mixx Awards Gala at Gotham Hall in NYC.

See Pictures Here
Mixx stands for Marketing and Interactive Excellence. It’s an online media thing. It’s Ad Week here in the East and I’ve been in the city twice this week already and it’s only Tuesday. Actually, I think it’s Wednesday now. Gotham Hall was really cool, it used to be a bank but now it’s a swanky place for corporate events and Grammy parties. The food and liquor was good and so was the architecture. There was a comedian there, he started off by comparing the lack of applause after his first couple jokes to the awkward silence of Mel Gibson and a Rabbi in an elevator. His jokes got pretty good after that. I couldn’t tell you who won what, I think Audi may have won something for an online ad, Lots of rich media stuff. Peta was outside protesting KFC ads on the internet. They were handing out brochures of deformed and decapitated chickens. That was kind of a bummer for me. Poor chickens. On the long ride home, my driver made me motion sick making NYC to CT in record time. Who knew a Lincoln town car could feel like a flight simulator? It was just like that Back to the Future ride at Universal Studios where they put you in the Dolorian and it feels like you're fliying with Doc and Marty. On the way into the city, I got a call from the second opinion doctor who retested Pugsley’s biopsy results. It was good news! Three different pathologists disagree with the Grade 3 diagnosis. They are all calling it a Grade 2 now which has a better prognosis. I felt like doing cartwheels on the Metro. That is actually the real story and cause for more than one glass of Chardonay.... but I'm too tired to tell it now. More details to follow…

Pugsley: aka, the Sausage.
Lori: Loves Pugs. Writing. Food and Fashion.

That's great news about Pugsley, Lori! Maybe you can rest a little easier now and not dig through his poop as much :P

Was glad to hear the good news from Grandma last night when I stopped by. I let Romeo give me extra kisses when I was telling him how glad I was about the good news. :) I swear he thinks I'm a human lollipop!

I'm very happy to hear about your little sausage's good prognosis! I'm looking forward to the details...
So I've met someone who goes to those cool award shows. Our lives are so different--but we have lots in common too. ~ I agree, I'd like to bottle essence of pug ear, too!
Love,
Kelly

Great news! Worth the cost of the consult, in my opinion. I hope this eases your mind. Kiss that boy for me!

At first I thought you'd said the Minx awards.
You like like a little minx, all dressed up in that little black number.
