My Chihuaha does about 4 circles.

My Emma Bean (a sheltie) doesnt spin but she has to walk the whole time. Its like a little old lady squat walk. Its like she cant be anywhere near it so shes got to evacuate the area before its even hits the ground. And her sister Josie doesnt walk but rather than cover it she just kicks back as much dirt as her legs will let her. Shes like a little bull, snorting and kicking back her legs one at a time. Most of the time shes kicking the dirt directly into Emma's face. So theres Emma.. eyes squinted, dirt flying around her little head, squat walking accross the yard... Thats entertainment.

Brandon does circles for food and poop. Go figure.
It is very cute!

I've seen the boys do that -- especially Dozer. Grimmy is hilarious though... not about the spin/poop. He will lift his back legs completely off the ground and walk on his front legs while peeing! I have never seen anything like it! We call it his circus act.

I've been thinking about getting it on video and submitting it to AFV... maybe you should do the spin/poop, too!

Both my pups are represented here! My pug, Yvette, did a combo of all of the above -- twirl on about five times, then squat/walk away at the same time, while my sheltie (!) Tyler was a huge kicker... funny, the things one remembers...

Audrey circles! Actually, she runs to the opposite end of the park, away from where she plays and where we picnic on weekends....then her tail gets a kink in it, then she runs like a gallop, then she twirls. Such a process each day!

hee hee, it sounds like they all have their own little bathroom rituals.

Lola does the spin poo thing. She also wades into the tallest vines or goes behind a bush or if there's no where like that she takes care to have her back turned. Modesty?
