mother's day
May 07, 2008
Question, what does everyone get their mothers for mother's day? Or if you are a mom, what would you like to receive?
My mom LOVES chocolate so a trip to the candy store is always a no brainer. But what else can I get besides the same old gift certificates to the salon and her favorites stores?
I'm looking for new ideas this year if anyone would like to share.

Pugsley: aka, the Sausage.
Lori: Loves Pugs. Writing. Food and Fashion.

I don't like my kids to overspend on me. I enjoy a flat of annuals for my garden, a dunkin donuts coffee card, or something like that. A couple of years ago I asked that they not spend any money and just visit the "Lilac Festival" with me. Just a nice afternoon walking around enjoying the flowers and festival.

I made her a handmade card, and I also had some flowers delivered to her house and some chocolates. I know, not terribly origional, but heck, she'll like it and that's what's important...right?
