T.G. David Cook won American Idol tonight or I NEVER would have watched the show again. Yay David!! I predict he will sell as many records as Chris Daughtry. I just hope they don't try to pop idol him all out. Clearly he is a rocker and a true original. Let us hope they allow him to do his own thing and be who he is...because I think who he is, is pretty cool.

I love his voice... just can't watch him. He gives me the ick. :)
BUT I am so happy he won and not David A. DA was such a one trick pony... he would have fizzled and gone the way of Taylor and Ruben. Of the two finalists the right one won... I still think it should have been Carly though. :)

I loved his performance with ZZ Top. I'm glad he won, too. He excelled in every category whereas little David pretty much is the same person in every song. This coming from someone who has evolved from singing in the All State Chorus two years in a row in high school to being mostly tone deaf.
