So I finally saw the Sex and the City movie tonight….I know I know I’ve been a bit behind on the times lately. I won’t put my movie review rundown out here on the main page as a spoiler in case there others [gasp] who still haven’t seen it.
But for those of you who did, what did you think? We can comment in the comments….

Did you laugh? Did you cry? Did you think it was too predictable? Did you think it held true to the series? Favorite parts? Could have done withouts? Fashion Faux pas?

i loved it! i think the girls are aging wonderfully, especially samantha who looks amazing for 50+. favorite part, well since i'm a world class typist, my favorite part was when carrie was interviewing for assistants, and she asked one girl if she was drunk. and she said, "lil bit, i didn't come home last night, but i type like a mother fucker" - omg, i was rolling in the aisle....

Okay, here's my two cents...

I liked it, really liked it. BUT I'm not sure if it's because the movie was so great or just that I've missed the characters for so long that I absorbed every minute of it like a sponge. It totally left a void when the series ended.

Overall I thought it was too predictable and I saw a lot of things coming. BUT I enjoyed the ironies and flash backs. Loved that Samantha got a little dog that was the female version or her. Hated that Sam didn't have any sex in the movie, especially with that incredibly hot neighbor. Did not care for her sub plot out in Hollywood, would have been better if they kept her in NY.

Carrie and Big -- Knew what would happen on the wedding day, knew how it would end. The break up scene was especially heart wrenching

Could have used less Jennifer Hudson screen time and more 4 women time.

Favorite part for me is when they were all in Mexico together, felt the most like the series, both funny and sad at once...

Hated the green feather bird LOVED the Vivienne Westwood dress and crazy fashions. Good ending but again I saw it coming.

All in all, satisfied and hoping for a sequel..
