When it comes to the standard interview questions, I know exactly how to answer:
• Tell me why you think you'd be a great fit for this position
• What is your most important accomplishment to date?
• Tell me about some of your recent goals and what you did to achieve them.
• What is your greatest strength?
• What is your greatest weakness?
But the one question I am struggling with is which shoes should I wear with my black suit? I know that strappy open-toed is obviously out. That leaves Pump, Peep toe, or Mary Janes.
I am kind of bored with the basic black pump. They just don't scream "creative thinker!", "expert negotiator!", or all around awesome kick ass get-the-job-done girl. So, I want to do a variation of the basic black pump; something that is still classic but with slightly more flair.
Keep in mind the upcoming interview is in NYC at a big publishing house so the look I am going for is professional but snazzy. The three pairs I've narrowed it down to are all equal in terms of comfort and walkability. Alternately I could go with a lower heel, but they won't look as good or make me feel as powerful. I am a scant 5'2 barefoot so anytime I can get up closer to eye level is a nice confidence booster.
Seeing as though I am a foot model now, I thought you could help me out!
Please answer my poll and help me decide which pair I should wear.
