Did you know there are a number of web page translators out there that will actually translate your website into different languages? Just for fun I wanted to see what my content would look like in a variety of vernaculars. Some are kind of funny.
Redneck Click on the link then click the Dialectize button.
Jive This one works best on my Cobra Subsidy entry. Also I like how Jive translates "white t shirts saturated in man sweat" to " honky t shirts saturated in joker sweat".
Valley Girl Translates to a lot of "Like" and Totally" words.
For more fun you can go to netdisater and make a myriad of untidy things happen to my site. Just type in my URL and flood pugsplace, enjoy a meteor shower, make a dog poop on my site, have a dinosaur crush me, or run a chainsaw through my head. Come on, you know you have always wanted to. I think my favorite is the cow dung. It has little flies and everything. Please don't do the worms though....that one freaks me out.
And last but not least, children of the 80's do you remember how much fun Mad libs were to play with your friends? You see even back then I was a word girl enjoying my word games. My favorite games to play were Mad libs, word association, and scrabble. And when I play cranium with my friends I still want the word scramble category but my team mates never pick them. Blast.
Check out www.elibs.com for a flashback of laughs. I just created the following story by plugging a few choice words into their template proving that even now, lo these many years Mad libs still make me laugh.
Bad Trip
One night I was riding my Pickle, it was so Balls! When we got back to the forest I took off my thong because I was so runny, soo runny that I turned on the washing machine. Just hearing that swoosh made me feel fun. I couldn't control myself from going out and panting my whole Led Zeppelin over and over again, but just as I was about to drip Jimmy Page I woke up in a pile of spaghetti and I realized that it was a hot concert of Zeppelin, I screamed Awesome! ! Then I urinated my pants and found a photo of Nick along with some weed. That Is when I was done! I said aloud and that is when police came and arrested me... The End??? Or Was IT???
And that wraps up today's lesson in cyber fun and games. Tomorrow I could show you the virtual makeover site where you can upload your head onto the hair and body of different celebrities to see what looks best suit you. And I can state emphatically that my face on Oprah's hair and body does absolutely nothing for me, other than generate a lot of laughs.
Man I hope I land a good job soon. Clearly I have way too much "geek out on the computer" time on my hands.
