creepy.....even for me

Have you seen this picture that's been circulating around the internet showing a rather unsettling photograph of what appears to be a half-human, half-doglike creature suckling her hybrid offspring? 
This photo is not photoshopped.... it is actually a sculpture created by the Australian artist Patricia Piccinini and is part of her exhibit called, "We Are Family".
It is creepy for sure but it does make me wonder what was going on inside the artist's mind when she embarked on this project. Some sort of lyrical reverse evolutionary anthropology experiment gone awry? Or a post apocalyptic gene war...very Planet of the Apes. One can only surmise..

Dude... I didn't go looking for it! I was on weather.com of all places and saw the banner so I clicked on it and quick google search later found the artists website. She actually has a lot of really cool, albeit far-out-there work but very revolutionary and thought provoking...if not sickening. hahaha.
And just in case you missed it, the "awake" entry was written in the past, like a year ago...(sometimes I post older articles I've written) I am sleeping fine these days :)

I was going to post a new video of Plum howling (a new thing she does when I come home or gate her off) but she is feeling under the weather tonight with a respiratory infection.... had to give her a vicks vaporizer steam bath for an hour instead...

LOL its not the advil pm its the red wine. Bottle should come with warning about calling old girlfriends at 3am.
