Obama - one year in
December 1, 2009

Another 30,000 troops
Another $30 billion dollars a year
A possible war surtax to pay for it all
Wants to make friends with the Taliban
Still haven't caught bin laden

Just curious if Obama supporters are still standing by their vote.

what happens when 100% of our money goes to the gov't?
How is it possible to SPEND our way out of debt?
Don't ever believe that the US cannot collapse (remember Russia)
How can we keep letting people come to this country illegally?
and the list goes on
I by no means blame it on Obama BUT I don't think he is helping matters
Look up on the web what one trillion dollars is.
WHo is going to pay it back?
People need to seriously stop and THINK about what is happening and stop wasting time watching american idol and all that crap
God help our children and young people THEY will have to pay the pipe.

I would like to give him a chance. The previous administration did a great deal to undermine our country and it's difficult to unravel all the problems that have been created by misguided policies. It's ironic that we are worrying about the deficit now after 8 years of excessive military spending.

I am pleased that he seems concerned about restoring civil liberties. The greatest damage to our country in the past ten years has not been spending--it has been the erosion of the Bill of Rights.

well I'm late in posting sorry...

but I look at it this way:

the man was left with a mess from the man in office. the wrong war and enemy was fought in Iraq. was SH a looser yup... but not the one who attacked us. if we pull out now it will be bad.

the place where we should of focused on is Afghanistan - and I think 30k is too little. and if we let this area win it will give the green light for more domestic attacks.

is one trillion too much to spend yup... but to be honest if we didn't I doubt we would have a nation as we know it today.

and up until this year I was a registered Republican and yes I voted for Barack.

sorry for the long post...
