Easter goodness
April 4, 2010

This is my favorite face in the world:

Nephew Joshua is obsessed with tools and more specifically Bob the Builder. Now because I would do anything in the world to see a smile on that face....this year I painted Joshie a special Bob the Builder Easter egg for his "tool themed" Easter basket, complete with hard hat and tool belt too! It was the grand daddy of all painted eggs.

He was a good sport and found 4 dozen eggs all by himself on the egg hunt!! But I think my Bob the Builder egg was his most favorite of them all :)

Bob the Builder, "Can we fix it?" ...."Yes we can!!"

Lori I see your yellow hard hat, really getting into the theme
Looks like you had a great Easter
There are no little kids around here and in my travels I never see kids out doing the Easter egg hunt like we did when we were young I am glad to see your family getting into the old tradition as I know it.
We always used to tap the ends of the eggs to see who had the strongest egg, I don't know if other people do that. My grandfather used to cheat and try to use a glass egg my grandmother used to tap the end of the egg against her teeth to test it and she was usually the winner.
Thanks for bringing back some great old memories and for the memories Josh will have in the years to come with aunt Lori
