It will be hard for any super bowl commercial to beat this one from last year in my opinion.
So it appears my computer got completely fried during the storm. It has no power supply to even turn on. This is the reason for my lack of posts lately. I don't really have the cash to purchase a whole new system right now, so I'm working on some other creative solutions.
In the meantime all I can offer you is cute Moxie cell phone pics and videos..
Here is a good one of her tormenting Angelo the puggle. She doesn't give the poor Schmoopie a minute's rest.
I'll post more pics and videos soon!
Hope you do too
You would have to be devoid of all human emotion if you didn't get just a little choked up by this.
This is awesome and makes me want to give a big SHOUT to all the soldiers out there! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
We're making good progress administering Plum's ear drops. I no longer have to put the drops in from behind and hold her down...I can now sit on the side or in front of her and she doesn't growl or try to attack like she used to.....in fact she yawns at me now like she is giving me the big old pug version of "Wut-ever!"
I think she finally realizes who is the alpha in our pack and that the ear medicine is a just going to be a part of her regular day. This is a good thing. Especially since the Dr. just informed me that she will need to be on the antibiotic drops for the rest of her life and in addition I have to give her daily vinegar/alchohol ear flushes to kill the yeast.
What a good girl!
Thanks to Becky for sending this one along:
Meet my latest toy, the Flip. It's a tiny, paired down video recorder as sleek and small as my digital camera, only you hold it upright. Apparently in the year since its invention, it has taken 13 percent of the camcorder market according to the manufacturer, Pure Digital. This is the newest model called the Flip Ultra, available in assorted colors. Mine is pink like this one. I bought it on Amazon for $119.00 w/ free shipping. Love it because it's tiny enough to throw in my bag on the way out the door. Never know when you may get the urge to do a little filming. Easy enough to point, click and shoot in any situation.
It's a no fuss, no nonsense, bare bones recorder that basically does the job. For the price of course it is not perfect. There is no flash, no high def, no memory card and only 2X digital zoom so when you blow up the video it does get a little blurry. But, for what it is I think it rocks. You can store 60 minutes worth of digital footage, there is no complicated manual to read. You point and shoot. That is it. No annoying tapes, discs, or wires. The USB slides off the side and plugs right into your computer port. Best of all the software it comes with allows you to plug it in and upload directly to YouTube, AOL, MySpace, or email.
Here is the first clip I uploaded, it's Pugsley acting all tough like he is going to bite my hand. He doesn't scare me.
One of Pugsley's many talents is that
He is an excellent present unwrapper.

Last night we were playing Daisy's movie clips and I thought it would be fun to show Gwen and eveyone else Pugsley's reaction to seeing Miss Daisy....He gives her two paws up and a double-curled tail!
Sorry for the glare on my laptop but you get the idea.
Since you nice folks seemed to enjoy Pugsley's movie clips I posted in my last entry, I thought I'd show you what happens at my house when I try to make the bed. See this sweet little pug can be very stubborn and ornery when he doesn't want to do something. In this case he doesn't want to move off the bed, he would rather bite my freshly laundered sheets and get them full of pug hair.
For those of you who don't know, Pugsley watches television. I decided still shots wouldn't do it justice so if you have Windows Media File, see for yourself:
